Lac La Biche County believes in providing the public with opportunities to be engaged in important decisions that affect the community. Public engagement happens every day, with the County providing information and stakeholders providing feedback.
Public participation takes this a step further. Public participation happens when we ask stakeholders to provide input before we make a decision. We use this public input to make decisions that are informed, sustainable and in the best interests of our community.
Our Public Participation Policy outlines how we identify needs for public input, appropriate consultation levels and more. Click here to read our policy.
