Lac La Biche Water Tower Update

Lac La Biche County has hired an engineer for consulting services to create the Water Tower Structural Stability Assessment Report, which includes ultrasonic testing for integrity and stability analysis. It also includes a tower coating assessment (with a lead test), a coating deterioration assessment, and a foundation integrity assessment through a holistic approach to provide a suitable, safe and cost-effective solution. The purpose of this overall report is to provide a solution to preserve the Water Tower as a landmark in the community.

The report will be presented to Council in the last week of April for further direction.
