Driving Directions
Midway between Edmonton and Fort McMurray, the Lac La Biche Region is easy to find and easy to explore.
From Edmonton (approx. two hours and 30 minutes of driving time):
Follow Highway 28 north for 145 kilometres, then turn left onto Highway 36. Follow Highway 36 north for 70 kilometres, through Kikino Métis Settlement and straight into the hamlet of Lac La Biche.
From Fort McMurray (approx. three hours of driving time):
Follow Highway 63 south for 240 kilometres, then turn left onto Highway 55. Follow Highway 55 east for 40 kilometres into the hamlet of Lac La Biche.
Visitor Information Centre
The Lac La Biche Region Visitor Information Centre is your local source for information about our community and the region. Stop by to ask for directions, local attractions, restaurant recommendations and more. The VIC is at the corner of 99 Street and 101 Avenue (Main Street) in the hamlet of Lac La Biche. RV parking is available, and a public beach, playground and spray park are all just a short stroll away.
