Know Your Zone for Snow Removal Parking Bans

Parking bans allow fast, safe and efficient snow removal from local roads and streets.

Our urban centres are divided into parking ban zones. To plan for bans, you need to Know Your Zone (see below).

When a parking ban is needed, signs will be placed on affected streets. You can also sign up for instant notifications, and then we will call, text or email you to let you know a parking ban is coming up.

Zone 1 - Hamlet of Lac La Biche: Business, Downtown and Collector Roads

Properties in Zone 1 will receive 24 hours' notice of upcoming parking bans. Bans may last 1-2 days, and will be lifted once the snow has been removed and our equipment has left the area.

Due to the mixture of commercial and residential areas in Zone 1, some streets will be cleared during the daytime while others will be cleared at night. Signs on affected streets will indicate the time(s) when snow removal is expected to take place.
