County starting several construction projects across region during week of September 17, 2018
The County’s starting several construction projects across the region next week. To keep both you and construction crews safe, please be aware of these projects in the following areas. Reduce your speed, drive cautiously, and obey all signage and flag people.
Construction will resume in the Dumasfield Subdivision on Monday, September 17. Crews will be conducting grading in the area, and will begin building an access road connecting 91 Avenue (behind the William J. Cadzow Health Centre) to Beaver Hill Road. Clean-up, topsoil placing, and seeding will also take place. This work is expected to be complete this fall.
Township Road 674
Township Road 674 between Range Road 151 and 152 will be closed from 8 am to 1 pm on Tuesday, September 18. This will allow time for crews to safely install a centreline culvert. Please use alternate routes.
Construction on Nashim Drive will start on Monday, September 17. The project includes removing old cold mix, installing culverts, preparing subgrade, and paving both the roadway and walking path. Local traffic only—all other traffic should use alternate routes during this time. Construction will be complete in October 2018.
